I actually like this shot a lot - she was just sitting behind me, i had to wait for a time when she wasn't really looking at me and angled my camera without the looking through the view finder and click! i really like portraiture... though I'm still relying heavily on enhancements... sigh...

This was just next to the sculpture i took and likewise trying a little play with color. Also wanted to play a little more with DoF (depth of field). this made me want a 1.4 50mm lens OH! so much!

This shot is taken from an air well where I live. I was practicing around doing BnW - perhaps too noob to go straight into colors. Perhaps until the day I can come out with better contrast with my images then only I'll slowly move into colors.

Saving Tips 101

Many of us may not believe in a piggy bag but I sure do! Though I don't really use one, instead i use an old box from which I bought a modem/router some time ago. I hate breaking piggy banks, they're too cute and also breaking it is like throwing away the money you bought it with. So I stick with old boxes. I always tell my wife never to under-estimate the power of a 1 cent coin. the math is simple. 10x 1 cents = 10cents x 10 = $1 x 10 = $10 and so forth... these simple things in life is usually taken for granted.

Where did I cultivate this habit? well, I was being taught to do it ever since elementary school but i never EVER did listened to my parents. Thats because the world was so tempting... buying sweets toys etc from the allowance i got. it is simply too hard to resist. But now since I'm earning my own bucks and always trying my best to bring home the best bacon - thats a different story. One thing for sure is that i HATE having coins in my pocket. Its like having bells all around you making you sound like Santa's coming to town! so no thanks. I'd chuck all my coins in that box (i mentioned earlier) and so be it! i dont care.

So, its been over a year or so... and that box is not small mind you. so i decided to get rid of it... so imagine trying to get rid of coins dumped into that box for the past year... so to the bank it is. and easily, out of no where... $340. ahaha so there, one of my financial saver's plans.

Ah, the long awaited movie (for me, at least) has finally arrived and would be in theaters around the globe next May. dont know why, but I've always had an admiration over steel & iron when it comes to super heroes. Perhaps anything that relates itself with technology is like a magnet to me. I guess i'm quite a tech savvy so right now, all i want for Christmas is this ---->

ok, its a 12" model of iron-man under the series of Marvel Icons. I told myself i really didn't want to spend into toys anymore ... but this is insane! i'm gonna get it anyway! wooooooooo

SO THERE, twas a proud owner of the Samsung D900 (use-to-be) slim-phone series... now wishing it to be stolen or being run over by a car - thus giving me the excuse to buy myself a new phone. so ta-daaaa my latest craze in phones has come to this --->

but me still contemplating due to some of its features that limits user customability. dont know about that but all i want now for christmas is a cool phone and right now, iphone's on my mind. bwahaha.. merry christmas y'all!!!

the World Of Warcraft! though the journey took me over 3 days worth of patches... you'd be surprise just before you click on 'play' when you enter the darkportal. However entering alone would be a drag, so... an optional mission I assigned myself with; to ~~drag~~ persuade my fellow workmates into a world where we ought to be when developing games in part of our nature. So there... we shall see tomorrows forecast in the World of Warcraft :)
